Common problems and solutions in the production of sand mills
1. Reduced or no coolant flow of mechanical seals
a. Coolant flow rate is reduced
Problem 1: The impurities in the coolant are adsorbed by the electric oil pump on the filter screen of the oil inlet, resulting in difficulty in oil inlet and reduced oil output.
Solution: Open the lid above the base, lift the Electric oil pump inlet pipe from the oil tank, and remove the impurities on the filter screen.
Problem 2: When the compression of the mechanical seal spring or the spring pressure is too large, the coolant temperature increases, coupled with the poor thermal stability of the electronic components in the electric oil pump, the working frequency of the electric oil pump decreases and the coolant flow decreases.
Solution: Reduce the number of springs. Note: The number of springs to be reduced must be in multiples of 2, 2 or 4 or 6 and the number must be reduced symmetrically.
b. There is no coolant spraying out of the oil cover above the base

(1) The electric oil pump does not operate (the oil pump does not shake).
Problem 1: The plunger in the electric oil pump is stuck by impurities in the oil and cannot move (the moment you just turn on the pump, you can feel the electromagnet of the electric oil pump move, and then there is no movement, or there is a very slight shaking).
Solution: Remove the end of the oil outlet cover of the electric oil pump, observe whether the plunger is stuck and clean it.
Problem 2: The electronic components in the electric oil pump are damaged (the power indicator of the electric oil pump is red at this time).
Solution: Replace the pump with a new one or repair the electronic circuit part of the pump.
Problem 3: 24V DC air switch protection in the electrical box (at this time, the solenoid valve does not operate and does not sound).
Solution: Check whether the solenoid valve and the electric oil pump have a short circuit.
Problem 4: There is no output of the 24V DC regulated switching power supply, and the green indicator light on the regulated switching power supply is not lit.
Solution: Check whether the 220V AC air switch is protected, and whether the overcurrent protection of the thermal relay of the main motor is activated.
If it is started (at this time, the two normal terminals that have been connected to the line under the red button of the thermal relay, one of which has no 220V, and both terminals are charged under normal times) can be pressed, or wait for half an hour to automatically recover.
Second, the electric oil pump can move (the electric oil pump shakes) and does not release the circulating coolant
Problem 1: The electric oil pump can move (the electric oil pump shakes) and cannot circulate the coolant.
Solution: If the filter screen at the oil inlet is all blocked or the check valve in the electric oil pump does not work, clean the filter screen or the check valve in the oil pump.
3. The feed pump (diaphragm pump) is not working properly, and the discharge is less
Problem 1: The feed pump (diaphragm pump) does not work properly, and the discharge is low, which may be due to the failure of the pressure control valve or the blockage of the material. The pressure control valve needs to be inspected and cleaned or the faulty part needs to be replaced. At the same time, check whether the feed pipeline is unblocked to avoid material blockage.
4. Coolant flows out from under the base barrel
Problem 1: When the sand mill is working, the material pressure in the cylinder is higher than the coolant pressure in the oil hood, so there is only the possibility that the material can enter the oil hood coolant. When the shutdown is not in use, the oil cannot enter the cylinder due to the tension of the oil, and the sealing surface of the dynamic and static ring of the mechanical seal is relied on to block the material from entering the oil.
When coolant comes out of the underside of the frame barrel, don't worry about the oil getting into the material. At this time, it should be checked whether the feed pipe is unblocked to avoid material blockage. At the same time, the pressure control valve needs to be inspected and cleaned or the faulty part needed to be replaced to ensure that it is working properly.
For other leakage problems, such as oil leakage at the joint part, leakage at the skeleton oil seal, etc., corresponding treatment measures need to be taken to repair, such as replacing seals, adding splash-proof devices, etc. Attention should be paid to details during the treatment process, and correct operating procedures and maintenance specifications should be followed to ensure the normal operation and service life of the sand mill.
