Rucca sand mill fault and troubleshooting methods

Rucca sand mill fault and troubleshooting methods
As a kind of high efficiency and high fineness grinding equipment, Rucca sand mill is widely used in various industries. However, due to various reasons, the sand mill may have various failures during operation.
This paper will introduce the common faults and troubleshooting methods of Rucca sand mill from eight aspects to ensure the normal operation of equipment and smooth production.
sand mill
Fault one: the feed pump does not operate or does not discharge after operation
The feed pump is one of the key components of the sander and is responsible for transporting the material into the grinding chamber.
If the feed pump fails, it will directly affect the normal operation of the sand mill.
Elimination method:
1. Check whether the material is evenly mixed, ensure that the pigment and other components are fully mixed, and avoid the local viscosity is too high to lead to the blockage of the feed pipe and valve.
It can be solved by adjusting the mixing time and improving the mixing process.
2. Check whether the diaphragm pump guide rod is stuck due to poor lubrication.
If there is a problem, clean and lubricate the guide rod to ensure its free movement.
3. Check whether the diaphragm pump air source is clean and ensure that the gas pipe joint is not blocked;
At the same time, check whether the oil-water separator works normally, and clean or replace the oil-water separator.
Fault two: the main motor does not work
The main motor is the power source of the sanding machine, and once it fails, the whole sanding machine will not work.
Elimination method:
1. First check whether the power supply is normal, whether the control line is smooth, and whether the cable is off.
If any abnormality occurs, repair or replace it in time.
2. Check whether the safety protection instrument works normally.
If there is a problem, the safety protection instrument should be adjusted or replaced.
3. Check whether the thermal relay works properly.
If there is a problem, the thermal relay should be adjusted or replaced.
Fault 3: The main motor runs but the rotor does not turn
The rotor is one of the important parts of the sand mill, which is responsible for mixing the grinding medium and material.
If the rotor does not turn, it will directly affect the grinding effect of the sand mill.
Elimination method:
1. Check whether the V-belt is too loose or slipping.
If there is a problem, adjust or replace the V-belt.
2. Check whether the grinding media and materials are stuck on the rotor.
In case of jamming, stop the machine immediately to clean the grinding cylinder and rotor.
For materials with low freezing point, the inlet valve must be closed in time to avoid reducing the temperature of the grinding cylinder, causing the material in the grinding cylinder to plate and jam the rotor.
When processing such materials, the inlet valve does not need to be opened in advance;
If it is necessary to stop, the water inlet valve should be closed in time, and the machine should be cleaned with solvent after the end of the work.
Fault 4: The device jitter
Device jitter may be caused by a variety of reasons, you need to check carefully.
Elimination method:
1. Check whether the feed speed is uniform.
If there is a problem, the jitter phenomenon can be improved by adjusting the feed speed.
2. Check whether the amount of grinding media is sufficient, too little grinding media may lead to unstable operation of the equipment.
Appropriate amount of grinding medium should be added according to process requirements.
3. Check whether the tightness of the V-belt is appropriate.
Too tight or too loose a belt can cause the equipment to shake.
The tightness of the belt should be adjusted to the appropriate state.
4. Check whether the viscosity of the material is high or low.
Materials with unstable viscosity may affect the stable operation of the equipment.
Ensure that the viscosity of the material is stable or within the range required by the process.
